Student Creed Mighty Tigers Ages 3-5

Chah-reot (Attention)  Kyeong-neh  (Bow)

1.      Knowledge in the mind

2.      Honesty in the heart

3.      Strength in the body

4.      And to make good friends!

At this point we do a tornado hand shake.  Kids often make up a special hand shake (spider man hands, bear claws, etc.) before being turned around.

Student Creed Junior Tigers Ages 6-12

Chah-reot (Attention)  Kyeong-neh  (Bow)

1. I am on a quest to be my best. 

2. I will develop myself in a positive manner.

3. I will not do anything that will impair my health.

4. I will develop self-discipline to bring out the best in myself and others.

5. I will defend myself with wisdom and honor.

6. I will practice Black Belt excellence.  Every day in every way!

Students chant:  1-2-3-Tigers  (On the word tigers punch upward and jump)

      At the end of class the only difference is before the student chant, the student 2nd in line calls “turn and face your senior student”.  Students will say either “Yes Sir!” or “Yes Ma’am” depending on the gender of the student saying the command.  Everyone will turn and face the flags or senior student.  The command for attention and bow is given, the senior student and the 2nd  student are the only ones to shake hands - no one else shakes hands.  The command to turn and face forward is given by the instructor.  The command for attention and bow is given again.  At this point the student chant is said.  The instructor dismisses the class and student leave the floor and begin to get ready to go home.

Student Creed Adult Class

      Is the only command given at the beginning of class.  At the end of class the only difference is the student 2nd in line calls “turn and face your senior student”.  Students will say either “Yes Sir!  or “Yes Ma’am!” depending on the gender of the student saying the command.  Everyone will turn and face the senior student.  The command for attention and bow is given, the senior student and the 2nd  student are the only ones to shake hands – no one else shakes hands.  The command to turn and face forward is given by the instructor.  The command for attention and bow is given again.   The instructor dismisses the class and student leave the floor and begin to get ready to go home.
